1. 1.

   Starting supply was Anvil, Leather Armor, Smithing Stone, Total=8, if you have higher supply, use Longsword over Smithing stone, or Blood Stone if you have Darkan.

   On 1/12, if you cannot consistently beat the enemy with the purchase of just 1 Training Sword, you likely need further training.

3. 3.

   Buy any Boulders you see until you get 4, worst case, you sell them for the price you bought them for, also get a Wooden Shield if possible. Only fuse into Serrated Sword against the Skeleton/Mimic.

4. 4.

   You NEED to see VIP Card by stage 3, and ideally multiple at that. Epic chances go from 2.5% on rounds 3/4 with one card to ~7% with 2, and ~12% with 3.

5. 5.

   With your VIP cards, you are trying to find either Absorbing Necklace or Blood Stone, Ideally Blood Stone, this strategy does not work unless you get one of these.

6. 6.

   After getting 1 Plate Armor, Steel Shield, and Plate Helmet, you can sell the Anvil to buy Absorbing Necklace or Blood Stone if necessary.

7. 7.

   You may be tempted to save your pet points to use double combat pets against the boss on 4/12, but if you can instead use (Mini) Mimic to craft into a Bloodletting Sword, or Bloody Crown, do so.

8. 8.

   If you had multiple VIP cards after 4/12, keep 1 and sell the rest, it hurts your chances of getting rare (Mithril, Leather Gloves, Steel Spike) and uncommon drops (Leather Armor, Spear) otherwise.

9. 9.

   Mithril Shield is your next priority after beating 4/12 as it makes 5-8 trivially easy and also reduces the speed at which the enemy gains spikes.

10. 10.

    If after you sold your Anvil, you have the option to buy discounted Leather Armors, combine them with Steel Spikes to increase your max health, this increases the effectiveness of your vamp/block gear

11. 11.

    During stages 5/6 try to find a Spear, but don't roll below ~9 gold as finding 2 gloves is harder than 1 spear, even on 7 with a VIP card, which you should sell off on 8/12.

12. 12.

    If you have higher gear level and are still struggling due to dying, you can reduce 2-4 levels in your weapon and put the resources into your shield.
